Submitted by Ed, this cocktail takes vermouth of two styles and brings it together with bitters making a very traditional cocktail design.
This was a cocktail Derrick wasn’t itching to create because he doesn’t find vermouth an exciting cocktail build, however, it is surprisingly good and contains some nice flavor where the bitters present themselves in a forward manner.
Old Hickory
1 oz. Dry Vermouth, 1 oz. Sweet Vermouth, 1 Dash Orange Bitters, 2 Dashes Peychaud’s Bitters.
